I have been creating art pretty much all my life. I’ve always had an interest in it. Add that to my passion for the fire service and it makes perfect sense that I would combine the two. I have been sculpting original firefighting art, airbrushing helmets and designing custom tattoos for years. Custom shield holders happened by accident…. I was taking a break from working on a sculpture and started pushing clay around on my helmet shield holder. Slowly it took the form of a dragon….. Fast forward a few years and a lot of trial and error and “Gargoylz” were born. Gargoylz Shield Holders gives me a way to connect my passion for the trade.

I am just an old school firefighter. I believe in tradition and brotherhood, both of which have dwindled in recent years. Gargoylz Shield Holders represent a pride in the profession. I will continue to encourage the new generation of firefighters to build that back into the job.
