Can you make me a custom designed shield holder?I frequently get requests for custom shield holders. As much as I would like to satisfy these requests, it is just not possible. The process of creating each design and getting the first run cast is very time consuming and costly. The entire process from concept to finished shield holder is about 3 to 5 months at a cost of several thousand dollars.

Will they fit my helmet? Each Gargoylz Shield Holder is cast by hand, Detailed and test fit on a cairns 1010 helmet. They will fit all Ciarns helmets except the 880 Chicago low profile. They fit the N6A and N5A as well. With a slight modification, they will fit the Phenix TL1 and TL2. If you are putting it on a TL2, I have step by step instructions with pictures on how to mount. It only takes the redrilling of one of the holes. Customers have mounted them on Bullard as well. The thing to keep in mind is if there is a will there is a way! Gargoylz Shield Holders are not flexible like the flimsy stamped shield holders that come on most helmets, and each one is just a little different than the next. They are “Working Art”.

What if I break my shield holder?Customer satisfaction is my goal. If your Gargoylz Shield Holder breaks during normal use in the first year, return it in the original box and I will immediately replace it with the same design. All you will pay for is the return shipping.

Is there a discount if I buy more than one?For orders of 5 or more shields I will $25/shield discount. Generally this if for 5 or more of the same design, but if you order 5 different designs, the discount still applies.

Why are Gargoylz Shield Holders so much more than regular (stamped) shield holders? Each Gargoylz Shield Holder is hand cast using a centuries old process called “lost wax casting”. This is a fairly involved process. It takes 6 different steps with about 2 ½ hours of hands on for each holder. That does not include the creation of the actual artwork or the process of making the mold. They are cast in a proprietary alloy of Titanium and Aluminum. It comes down to this….. If you are looking for something to hold your shield, buy a regular shield holder. If you are looking for something original and unique that will last throughout your career and then be handed down to your son or daughter, buy a Gargoylz Shield Holder.
